On display and ready for Auction!

Wow! The first Breedable Pet Show was an ENORMOUS success. It was absolutely stunning to see such an amazing group of SL residents come together, at the Christmas Expo, all for a common cause.. to stand behind Relay For Life of Second Life and it’s year-round fight against cancer. For the first time, in SL, we saw breedable creators, developers and staff come out to display their prized creations, in one location, for all to enjoy. The breeders who love them and have been a big part of the breedable aspect of SL and also, people who are just now stepping into that wonderful world, flocked to the display for 10 days while ‘meet the creator’ sessions were presented.

The Christmas Expo’s coordinator, Nikki Mathieson approached The Breeder’s Borough to ask for their expertise in launching the first of many exciting breedable events. The Breeder’s Borough accepted the offer to be the host with such enthusiasm and dedication, and then proceeded to just knock it out of the park! Thank you so much to Nephelle Lanate, Cortez Brandriss and the entire Borough staff for working so diligently to make our first Breedable Pet Show a fun and fantastic success. Your generous contributions of time and talent together with many, many visitors and creators raised a whopping $L2, 222,000 for Relay For Life. Thank you , thank you.. no REALLY.. THANK YOU!

The SL Amazing Race took off with a bang today! It’s not too late to sign up to win the Grand Prize of 10,000L! REGISTER HERE!  You may register AT ANY TIME! So get your team together and GO!

Two member teams race acrossing the grid, visiting various locations, completing games, tasks, and hunts!  Clues are provided after each task is completed, and will guide teams to the next stop on the Race! The team completing ALL tasks in the LEAST amount of time by midnight, December 17th, will be THE WINNER!

Well, here we are.. the Christmas Expo is nearly here and we are excitedly bustling about preparing our shops, our voices, our smiles, our Ho Ho Ho’s and fa la la la la’s.  Kayle Matzarath, our Master Builder has been barely coming out for food because he’s so busy building shops and stages and then polishing every door knob bright and shiny, because we have company coming!  And we can’t wait for you all to get here!

Marking it’s 1st year in SL, The Christmas Expo is coming to town!  Coordinated by the crew who brings The Home & Garden Expo and Back to the 50′s Weekend to Secondlife, with many volunteers from SL’s RFL Volunteer group, this Expo will feature some new and fun special events, an estimated 100 vendors and amazing Holiday splendor to 4 regions.
