Our research goal is simple — find answers that help save lives. Our strategy for funding research is just as straightforward — fund the best science. We have spent more than $4.8 billion since 1946 doing just that — making us the largest private, nonprofit funder of cancer research in the United States. This investment has enabled our researchers and scientists throughout the country to make major cancer discoveries.
